Biology of Design &​​ Portfolio class

Originally Designed this to kill two bird with one stone.

My final in Biology design was on presenting about the causes and effect of Alzheimer and in my Portfolio class, I had to come up with a brochure design.  So,  I designed a brochure that talked about Alzheimer.  I chose this picture in the cover is because of my research that showed that Alzheimer is prominent in Latinos because of their diet. Photo is from Getty Images using search result of elderly men and couples.



I've thought of everything from what picture to use, color scheme, which information  should be located where, and the most clear font for my targeted group. Although original font size was much larger, and was shrunk down to a lower point level due to teachers suggestion.

 

Natural remedy was included but information is not from alz.org but from another website. No copyright infringement was intended. After I graduated, I sent the Pdf to Alz.org in hopes that they would see my work and hire me but not so, I am assuming that they had use it because of an informtion received while I was inworld in Secondlife.
