Although I am new to the Graphic Design industry, I have always done stuff in the creative field. You can see my creative writing at a special superman fan website. Logo Design
I went to visit my sister and brother-in-law in Philadelphia. On one boring day I came across his business card on the living room shelf and noticed that it needed improvement.
He had used a generic clip art of a hammer and a professional paint brush. I've also made it two sided. I decided to improve his logo by using both profession hammer and paint brush, and encase it inside a house. I kept part of the hammer blue to give it a little bit of a tie to what the color is on the back.
I've also designed a second version of this where all the information on this card that you see here is on one page.
Lincoln Park Conservatory Collateral Design
I love this flower that I took. It belongs to my mom's friend that my mom had revived. The Lincoln Park Conservatory's Butterfly orchid just seems too dead to me.
Although this comes in set of postcard, poster, and brochure in three types of flower. This one is my favorite because the flower has it's own unique character that I called the flower a "Roaring Flower" instead of its real name "Butterfly Orchid" because at this point of view it looks like a lion roaring at you.
The Poster is the current updated version, just recently updated after I had gone through my portfolio show at the Illinois Institute of Art.

Although I was told that we don't put up picture of stuff that we did in our first class, I have to put this up. If you look at it really carefully. It expresses my feelings, my dreams, and hope.
Superman and cat expresses my interest. WB represent, yes, Warner Brothers Studio. My hopes to work for them someday. Broken Star represent my broken dream. Broken heart represent my shattered heart in my childhood.
As I had said every symbol in here has a meaning and it represent my hopes and my dreams for a better life and for my future.

Portfolio Class
Designed this during my portfolio class. Side one as pictured is the regular boarding pass with the theme of visiting the city of the world.
On the back would have one side with the image as seen here on one side only but in the smaller section to the left of the picture would have advertising slogan "Visit the cities with American Airlines" and it's logo on the bottom.
